2008 Summer Social

Well, another successful SOCAP Summer Social in Atlanta!  The Georgia Chapter of SOCAP, joined up with fellow associations: HDI – Help Desk Institute, ICSA-International Customer Service Association, SCATA – Southeast Chapter American Teleservices Association, and the CRMA - Customer Relationship Management Association.  This incredible team of association members / volunteers pulled together to make an evening that everyone will be talking about for a long time!

This was our 7th Annual Summer Social, and seven must be our lucky number, because it was without a doubt our best.  It was an incredible success, and the highest attendance we've ever had, with over 200 attendees!  I think it says a lot that we can work together for all these years and still get better and better, especially when you have Tom Rocca, our SOCAP Georgia board member and our National board member leading our team!

This outstanding social networking event has held at a great Atlanta French restaurant, Violette’s!  The food and service was outstanding!  GREAT Customer Service!!  This event was based on a happy hour / cocktail party concept with ten sponsors picking up the tab: Aspect, Possible Now, Front Range Solutions, SEN Communications, North Highland, AVTEX, Volt Services, Prosodie Interactive, Noble Systems, and Centris Information Services.  KPI Group supplied the musical entertainment with a guest appearance from “Drew Allen” on guitar. (Last Comic Standing hopeful) Another highlight of the event was giving out over 60 door prizes this year.  The big gifts included many $100 gas cards, of course!! “:o)
